What skills and experience we're looking for
Somerset is an outstanding and inspirational Nursery School in the heart of the Battersea community. The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring EYFS Class Teacher
You will need to be:
- an outstanding teacher with a commitment to high quality early year’s practice
- an excellent understanding of how young children learn
- passionate about excellence
- positive, enthusiastic and creative
- experienced in working with children with SEND and supporting their families
- a successful leader, able to communicate well with everyone inside and outside the school
- flexible and energetic

Our children are at the heart of everything we do.
We are the largest maintained provider of nursery schools in Wandsworth, and fulfil a strategic role in early years provision across the Local Authority. We potentially cater for over 200 children across our four sites, and the children range from 0–5 years old. Many come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and we are immensely proud of our outstanding inclusive provision.
