What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a highly effective teacher with up to date experience of planning, teaching and assessing who shares our vision to enable, enrich and empower all children.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record ofstrong outcomes within the EYFS, achieved through high quality teaching and positive relationships with staff, children and families.

The post includes subject leadership of at least one area of the curriculum.

A qualification in leading forest school is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will:

  • be self-motivated to develop professionally
  • have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others, proactively contributing to the team
  • be able to demonstrate their ability to adapt and scaffold learning through formative assessment to meet the needs of individuals and ensure good progress is made
  • be able to use assessment effectively to fully challenge and extend the learning of all children and be driven to overcome barriers for disadvantaged children
  • be committed to motivating, inspiring and nurturing children in all aspects of their education
  • be able to uphold our school ethos and values
  • be active in all aspects of school life
