EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our school family. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our lovely village primary school where community and adventure is at the heart of everything we do.

Our School motto smallschoolbigheart recognises the love and care we demonstrate as a dedicated Church of England School. As a proud member of the St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust, our vision is supported with a ‘Bring It!’ approach to all areas of our school life.

We are looking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant who can:
work well as part of a caring team, under the direction of a Class Teacher.
deliver high quality adult-led sessions that focus on the interests of the children
contribute to our Church of England ethos.
secure high quality relationships with parents, carers and the wider community.
bring creativity and enthusiasm to each and every new day.

An interest in Outdoor Education would be an advantage as we build the reputation of our newly opened Outdoor Nursery. This role is for 3 days in the first instance, but may be subject to an increase in hours at a later date.

In return, we can offer you:
a welcoming team environment within a MAT committed to staff development.
a beautiful setting, focused on the ‘Great Outdoors’, within a caring and supportive community.
wonderful children who are eager to learn new skills.
a full induction programme focused upon ensuring you get off to a great start.

Please note that for this vacancy a Level 3 qualification specifically in Early Years (or superseding qualification) is required.

We would welcome you to come and see our beautiful school. Should you wish to arrange an appointment to visit our school, please contact the school office on secretary@antony.cornwall.gov.uk or by telephone: 01752 812555.

We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and will be assessed against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.
