Western are thrilled to announce the opportunity to join a thriving EYFS provision as our new EYFS Room Leader! We offer a diverse provision for children aged 2 years old and up. Our vision for our early years children is to create happy, engaged and confident individuals who are independent, creative, kind and enthusiastic learners. The environment in EY indoors and outdoors will stimulate and enhance the children’s learning and reflect their current interests and fascinations. Every child is valued, feels safe and are part of the school community. This is a role offering variety, leadership, and the chance to make a real difference in children's lives. If successful, you will have the opportunity to lead one of our EYFS provisions, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and safe care for children. You will plan activities, oversee safeguarding and wellbeing, and liaise with parents and carers.

About our School

As a school, we often refer to the Western community rather than Western school, as that is a much better description of what has been built up over many years. Our core values of kindness, honesty, and respect aren’t just words; they shape everything we do. Here’s what you can expect when you join us:

  • Generous pension scheme with an employer rate of 19% plus a wide range of benefits, discounts, and rewards. Details HERE.
  • Flexible working options – We understand the importance of work-life balance and are happy to explore arrangements that suit both you and the role.
  • A genuinely supportive environment – We prioritise respect, equality, diversity, and well-being, making Crawshaw Academy a place where you can thrive.
  • A strong sense of community – Collaboration and generosity are at the heart of our culture.
  • Ongoing professional development – We invest in your growth at every stage of your career, helping you reach your full potential.
