What skills and experience we're looking for

We are excited to offer a wonderful opportunity for a teacher with Early Years experience to join our friendly and supportive team. This role is for one day per week teaching in our Reception class starting January 2026 (but earlier if possible).

This position could be perfect if you are:

  • starting out in your teaching career and looking to build experience,
  • wanting to continue teaching on a part-time basis, or
  • considering reducing your hours but not ready to step away from the classroom just yet.

If you have a passion for Early Years and want to make a difference, we would love to hear from you!

As our new teacher you will need to be enthusiastic, creative and dynamic with recent, and proven, experience in Early Years. You must be able to support whole school initiatives as you join us on our journey to becoming an outstanding school.

What the school offers its staff

You will join a supportive and friendly teaching team, committed to promoting high achievement in education. You will be a lively and engaging teacher, able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies and teaching skills, as well as being well organised and having high expectations of achievement and behaviour.

We offer you:

  • Enthusiastic children who are keen to learn
  • A strong whole school ethos based on Care, Belief, Pride and Success
  • A dedicated staff team committed to achieving high standards
  • A range of professional development and career opportunities
  • A supportive and visionary governing body

Further information about the job

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.

The Collective Vision Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; applicants will therefore be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes including an enhanced DBS disclosure. This position is subject to a social media check and an Enhanced Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
