EYFS Teacher job summary

St John’s Infant School are looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and well-motivated EYFS teacher who is committed to providing inspirational and motivational learning opportunities for our children.

The Role

As an Early Years Class Teacher, you will:

• Create a warm, purposeful and enabling environment that supports curiosity, independence and wellbeing
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and continuous provision grounded in strong EYFS pedagogy
• Use observation and assessment responsively to shape learning and next steps
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across school and the Trust to ensure coherence and consistency
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate children’s progress clearly

The successful candidate will possess excellent EYFS knowledge, high quality teaching skills, good communication and teamwork skills and demonstrate a desire to support CPD and their own professional development.
