EYFS Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the early education and development of children in our Reception Class. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences and ensuring the well-being of all pupils.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in early years education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
  

• Experience working within an EYFS setting.
  

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and principles.
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  

• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  

• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.

Desirable:

• Experience supporting children with SEN.
• First Aid qualification.
• Additional training or certification in early years education.
