EYFS Teaching Assistant job summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the early education and development of children in our Reception Class. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences and ensuring the well-being of all pupils.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in early years education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
- Experience working within an EYFS setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- First Aid qualification.
- Additional training or certification in early years education.
