What skills and experience we're looking for
The post will require the candidate to work in our EYFS class and support the teacher in planning and delivering exciting learning experiences.
The ideal candidate should have:
• Experience of working within a school
• Ability to work and communicate with young children
• A minimum of Level 4 (C) GCSE or equivalent, in Maths and English
• Experience of working with visiting professionals
• Be able to adapt the planning/session where required
• Be able to use their own initiative
• Support the class teacher in setting up and maintaining outstanding EYFS provision

St. Patrick’s, Bircotes, is one of 13 primary schools within the St Francis catholic Multi Academy trust. This is an exciting time to be joining St Francis as a new Catholic trust of 13 schools, growing to 24 schools in line with the bishop of Hallam’s vision for education.

Recently rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (April 2023) the school is looking forward to building on this success into the future.
