What skills and experience we're looking for

To work flexibly within our Early Years provision to enhance the development and education of pupils with SEND in accordance with the aims and policies of the school. To work on a 1 to 1 basis with a specified child or as part of a small group, as required. If the child is absent they will work as a general Grade 4 teaching assistant across the Early Years classrooms.

Ash Grove Academy are looking to appoint a dedicated, caring and supportive Teaching Assistant to support children within our Nursery.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who inspires children to have a love of learning. It is essential that they are sensitive to the needs and abilities of our pupils while ensuring that each pupil is appropriately challenged to achieve their potential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion and will ideally have experience of supporting children with a range of special educational needs.
