We are looking to appoint Facilities Manager who will work closely with the Operations Manager and SLT to be responsible for site management and health & safety and line manage a team of site staff and cleaners.
We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible Facilities Manager who has the passion and drive to ensure the environment is suitable for our young people and stake holders to thrive.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and able to manage and prioritise their own workload; they will be responsible for maintaining our school site to a high standard and manage all works across site all- year round.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all stakeholders in relation to premises and H&S issues therefore, we require someone who has a friendly, professional, calm and courteous manner with fantastic communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to working in an environment which has the progress, safety and wellbeing of pupils at its core is essential.
Whilst experience of working in an educational setting is beneficial, it is not essential and we would love to hear from you if you believe you have transferable skills that would allow you to succeed in the role.
The successful candidate will:
- - Create and maintain a professional environment that welcomes visitors and families and enables our learners to thrive and be safe.
- - Demonstrate good communication skills both orally and written
- - Have an eye for detail and will ensure all in-school events are set up in a professional way
- - Work well independently, managing workload and site repairs as required
- - Work confidently on a range of IT systems and keep accurate data records
- - Prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines
- - Be willing to contribute to school life
- - Be responsible to ensure all statutory Health & Safety guidance is adhered to across site
