Please note that the full-time equivalent salary for 37 hours a week is £28,129-£30,174 FTE

As Family Liaison Officer and Pastoral Support worker you will:
Support the delivery of the school’s safeguarding policy and be an active member of the safeguarding team in accordance with statutory guidance and school/trust policy.
Supporting children and families in the improvement of attendance
Liaise professionally with external agencies such as Housing, NSPCC, School Nurse, Social Care, Food Bank, Play Therapists and the Early Intervention Team etc.
Build positive relationships with families to encourage active engagement in school life and learning.
Support all pupils consistently while recognising and responding to their individual needs.
Support the SENDCo with administrative tasks as required.
Be willing to assist in other areas around the school. This is a “hands on role” and staff are required to pro-actively support other staff members as required.
To be willing to undertake training where appropriate.
