Family Support Worker job summary

The Governors of the school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and appropriately experienced individual to the role of Family Support Worker.

  • Do you have a desire and willingness to support vulnerable young people and their families?
  • Do you have an optimistic outlook, wanting to positively influence the lives of vulnerable families?
  • Are you willing the gain the necessary skills and expertise to facilitate the above?

To be considered for the role you should have:

  • Experience working with vulnerable children and their families
  • A true passion for positively influencing the lives of the more vulnerable
  • Have the ability to build positive relationships with parents and professionals

Hours: Part-Time (flexible 13.5hrs/2 days per week -Term Time Only)

New NJC Level 3d point 7 (£13.26 per hour)

Responsible to: Head of Inclusion
