We are constantly striving to achieve the very best outcomes for our children and families and are seeking to appoint a forward thinking, reflective and kind individual who has the appropriate drive, ambition, initiative, skills and experience to work alongside our school staff and our families. The Family support worker will be responsible for identifying, organising and implementing interventions to support children and families, be a key member of the safeguarding team and work closely alongside all staff. You will represent the school in professional meetings and be competent in collating and presenting information in a succinct and accurate manner.
Working Pattern:
- Monday to Thursday 8.30-4.30pm
- Friday 8:30 - 3.30pm
The applicant will have:

- excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills
- be fully committed to inclusion and participation for all
- support families where there are early signs of social, emotional, health, behavioural needs, deprivation or other additional needs
- experience and qualifications of leading parenting classes
- experience of working with different agencies to support families
- work with school and families to improve attendance
- experience of working within all areas of safeguarding i.e. Child Protection, Child in need and Early Help.
