We are excited to share this opportunity to join our central finance team as Finance Administrator. As a critical member of the team, you will support the senior finance assistant in the administration of the Lloyds bank accounts, procurement cards, central team expenses and academy bank support.

This role is offered as a full-time role (36.5 hours per week) predominantly working from home with a requirement to work 1 day per week at our Birmingham office.

About you

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a minimum of 5 GCSEs at A*-C, including English and Maths, and proven relevant accounting experience. You will have hands-on financial administration expertise, ideally within a school or public sector environment, proficiency in a range of ICT tools, particularly Excel and Word, is essential.

You excel at organising your own workload, remaining responsive and effective under pressure and using your initiative to meet deadlines and resolve competing priorities. Building strong working relationships comes naturally to you, as does handling sensitive information with tact, discretion, and professionalism. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills ensure you can engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Dependable, adaptable, and detail-focused, you are committed to delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service with accuracy and timeliness at its core.
