Finance Administrator job summary

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and adaptable Finance Administrator to join our busy and supportive school team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the school, working closely with colleagues, parents and external suppliers. You will need to be organised, reliable and able to manage information accurately, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys working collaboratively within a small team and of equal importance, part of the whole school team.
  • Is organised, hardworking and able to use initiative to find practical solutions to challenges.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can convey financial information clearly and appropriately to a range of audiences.
  • Demonstrates tact, diplomacy and sensitivity when dealing with financial matters involving parents, colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Acts with honesty and integrity and approaches their work with patience, resilience and a good sense of humour.

Full training will be provided for the successful candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant administrative experience who is looking to develop their skills within a school environment.
