Location: Connect MAT Head Office (Stanley, County Durham) with some travel to Wellfield School, Wingate
Full-time Apprenticeship contract
Fixed term for a year with possible extension for duration of qualification
Connect Multi Academy Trust is seeking a motivated Finance Apprentice to join our Central Finance Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards an AAT qualification.
You will support day-to-day finance operations, including:
- Processing purchase invoices and raising sales invoices
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting basic accounting tasks and reporting
- Providing administrative support to the Finance team
What We’re Looking For
- GCSEs (incl. Maths & English) and A-levels (or equivalent)
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail
- Good IT skills and willingness to learn financial systems
- Organised, reliable and keen to develop a career in Finance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work as part of a team

Connect Multi-Academy Trust is legally obligated to process a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before making appointments to relevant posts. Please note that we operate a probationary period of 4 months across all jobs in the Trust. You will receive a comprehensive induction to support you to successfully pass your probation.
