Finance Assistant job summary

Our Headteacher and her senior leadership team are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their finance team working closely with the School Business Manager and Finance Manager. This role is term time only working 39 weeks per year, 30 hours per week and between the hours of 08.30-16.00. There is some flexibility with the weekly hours and times but the successful candidate would need to be available to work for at least 4 days per week and a minimum of 25 hours per week but please note the salary listed on the advert reflects a 30 hours per week position.

Main objectives of the post

  • To provide finance support to the School Business Manager and Finance Manager.
  • Maintain and administrate financial records.
  • Support staff, suppliers and parents with financial processes.
