Finance Business Manager job summary

Gatehouse Green Learning Trust is a diverse, inclusive, and vibrant five school Trust, consisting of three Primary Schools, two Secondary Schools, and 450 staff, all serving their local communities in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the finance team as we progress our plans for growth through partnership with other Trusts.

The main responsibilites of this role are to ensure that key stakeholders (CEO, CFO, Operations Director, individual school leaders and Trustees) are supported with financial information and analysis to assist with decision-making and driving business strategy.

The successful candidate will ensure that schools are kept informed of their financial performance through regular preparation, analysis and reporting of monthly management accounts. Leading the budget and forecasting process with the CFO to ensure that individual schools’ budgets across the Trust are designed to facilitate plans for school improvement while accurate financial records are maintained. You will also manage the central finance team and support staff with finance responsibilities across the Trust schools.
