At Discovery Trust, every role contributes to improving outcomes for our pupils, and we're looking for an experienced, proactive and solutions focused Finance Manager to join our Central Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by ensuring our schools have the robust financial systems, controls and support they need to thrive. By driving efficiency, strengthening governance and enabling colleagues to work confidently and effectively, you'll play a vital role in supporting the high-quality education our pupils deserve.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead the Trust's finance systems, controls and transactional finance operations, ensuring they are efficient, reliable and fit for the future. As the Trust's finance systems expert, you will maintain the integrity of financial data, strengthen financial controls and drive automation and continuous improvement across our growing family of schools.
You will work closely with school leaders, budget holders and central teams, helping them navigate financial processes with confidence while supporting strong governance, compliance and audit readiness. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with collaboration, problem-solving and innovation, all while making a meaningful impact on colleagues and pupils across Discovery Trust.
