We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our central team. The Trustees are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated Finance Officer who will play a key role in supporting our Trust’s continued success.
You will:
Maintain high standards of financial administration and support across our academies.
Assist the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in ensuring finance systems are accurate, up-to-date, and reflect the Trust’s financial position.
Support the CFO with month-end processes and the timely production of management reports.
Prepare financial data to inform strategic decision-making across the Trust.
Develop and maintain robust financial monitoring systems and reporting tools.
Ensure all financial information is processed promptly and accurately.
Demonstrate strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Contribute actively to our central team and uphold the Trust’s ethos of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
This role involves close collaboration with the CFO, central team, Headteachers, and school staff across the Trust.
The ideal candidate will:
Have prior experience using finance software, preferably PSF and IMP.
Hold, or be actively working towards, a recognised accounting qualification.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Be capable of quickly absorbing and interpreting complex information.
Have a proven ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility with senior stakeholders across various internal functions.
Possess up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial standards, regulations, and legislation.
