What skills and experience we're looking for

Kingsleigh Primary School is a true community school and we firmly believe it is our responsibility to educate the children in our community. We believe that all children have the right to an education and actively promote educating the whole child and offering them the support they need to achieve both academically and personally.

We are seeking to appoint an efficient and proactive full-time Finance Officer to be responsible for carrying out finance duties within our school. This position is being offered on a permanent contract.

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week from 8am to 4pm with a 30-minute break for lunch - term time plus 1 week of holiday working. Salary being offered (depending on experience) is Grade 4-5 - £25,584-29,093 pro rata.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has experience of working in a finance role
  • has a competent level of skill using various IT devices and equipment
  • can demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills
  • is enthusiastic about running an orderly and efficient working environment and is always looking to improve systems and procedures
  • remains professional and positive under pressure
