We are looking for a capable and efficient Finance Officer to work across our three-school Federation. This is a part time post of 30 hours per week (9am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours may be considered for the right candidate). You will be based at Woodland View Junior School but will be required to spend time in each of the three schools. It is a skilled and responsible role and one in which you will be a very valued part of our community. You will need to provide a high standard of financial support and a willingness to work collaboratively whilst upholding professionalism and the strictest confidentiality to the Federation and our families. 

The person appointed will have previous experience working in finance, ideally within a school setting. Equally important qualities are strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, organisation, flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude. You must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.

This role will involve monitoring, maintaining and developing all financial systems and procedures within the schools. You will provide accurate financial information and support school leaders to provide value for money and make efficiencies where possible.

Working as part of the administrative team the role also includes an element of working with families and other stakeholders.
