Finance Officer job summary
Flexible Working Options
We are open to flexible working discussions in relation to this role. Potential options include 1 day per week based off-site or part-time hours (min of 30 hours / week or open to job share candidates). The role is term time only with an additional 4 weeks to be worked in school holidays around key deadlines (with some flexibility around dates in coordination with colleagues). The role is offered on a 1-year fixed-term contract initially whilst we review longer term needs.
Role Summary
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our multi-academy school trust. Working as part of our supportive central Finance team, you will be responsible for payroll processing (alongside our Finance Manager and outsourced 3rd party payroll provider), as well as accounts payable and other general finance admin support. You will have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills and be accustomed to working in a fast-paced finance, accountancy or bookkeeping environment. You will already have some knowledge of payroll but previous school experience is not required.
