Vacancy for Fitness Instructor

Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 3, Point 2-3

Hours: 16 hours per weekend (8 hours Saturday and 8 hours Sunday), 52 weeks per year.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Sharnbrook Academy Leisure as a Fitness Instructor!

Sharnbrook Academy Leisure is a gym and sports facility targeted to community driven fitness. Our mission is to provide leading fitness and leisure facilities to local communities. This comes from the core passion and shared values across its diversely skilled team. This aligned with a vision of driving functional fitness further within the education sector is what we feel identifies us as the spearhead for community fitness and leisure.

The opportunity:

  • A career as a Fitness Instructor is hugely rewarding. As a recently developed gym facility with an exciting future, Academy Leisure would give you the tools to develop and progress your career as a Fitness Instructor.
  • You will monitor all activities that take place in the gym and give our members a fabulous experience two days a week. This is a combined role, supervising the gym and other areas of the facility. With an ever-growing membership base there is a perfect opportunity to develop your Personal Trainer portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor Qualification.
  • Experience in the Fitness Industry.
  • Experience in Group Training.
  • Confidence in facility management
  • Coaching and motivational skills.
  • Passionate about customer service.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
