Total of 21 hours per week
Wednesday – Friday 8:00am-3.30pm
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Term time only plus one Trust Development Day and one school INSET day.
Food & Textiles Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join our support team at Ralph Allen in this dual role.
Working as a Food Technology & Textiles Technician within the Design & Technology Department, duties will include preparing materials and equipment for all lessons and providing technical and general assistance to teachers and pupils. Experience of working in a school environment; food technology/textiles environment would be an advantage.
This role also includes 1 hour per day on lunchtime assistant duties. Lunchtime is a really important part of the day so we want to appoint somebody who is keen to make a difference to a child’s experience at school.
You should enjoy working with children and understand how to provide for their needs in a positive and caring manner.
Reliability, flexibility and confidentiality are crucial qualities required for this dual position.
