Full Time EYFS/Y1 Teacher job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic EYFS/KS1 classroom practitioner to join our caring and supportive school. We are a small school and nursery situated in the village of Woore on the Shropshire/Cheshire/Staffordshire border. This post will be full time and is not suitable for a newly qualified teacher.
The governors are looking for a dynamic and skilled teacher to work with our mixed age reception and Y1 class. A good knowledge of the new EYFS framework will be essential alongside a secure understanding of the current framework in KS1. Due to the nature of the mixed age class, good organisational skills will be key to balancing the needs of the children simultaneously.

We are a small, rural school on the Cheshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire border. We have 3 mixed age classes and a small nursery. We are fortunate to have a huge outdoor space which encompasses a field, playground and forest school area.
The successful candidate will be part of a small school team and will be largely self-directed and encouraged to develop their own ideas and practices within the school. The teacher will be supported well through whole school development and personal CPD.
