General Kitchen Assistant job summary
Here at Ferrars Junior School we run our own in house catering provision with a dedicated and passionate team.
We are looking for the right person to assist in our school kitchen and dining rom as required to ensure that our children get a nutritious and balanced lunch.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced General Kitchen Assistant/ Cook and be able to understand and follow instructions, to work effectively as a member of a team and have knowledge of high standards of kitchen cleanliness.
In addition, you'll need to be able to perform physical tasks on a frequent basis, e.g. lifting catering equipment and supplies, up to 20 kilos.
The successful candidates will join our kitchen as a General Kitchen Assistant and will need to be reliable and punctual.
Working Hours:
20hours per week - Monday - Friday 10.00am - 2.00pm, term time plus 5 cleaning days.
Salary £10,462 actual annual.
