Contract: Part time, Permanent

Hours: 15 hours per week, term-time only including training days

Working Pattern: 09:30 - 14:30, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

Actual salary: £8,441.54 (based on FTE £24,310)

At Temple Moor High School & Sixth Form, we passionately believe that fresh and nutritious meals are essential to support effective learning. Our catering team provides the best quality meals (and snacks!) to our pupils and employees, promoting a healthy lifestyle and supporting them to get the most out of every day.  Are you a team player, willing to work in our fantastic kitchen? We are looking for a General Kitchen Assistant to join our catering provision. If you have a passion for food and share our unwavering commitment to the health of all our pupils…then this rewarding role is for you!

You will be required, as part of the catering team, to carry out kitchen cleaning duties, dish washer duties, checking deliveries of food provisions, allocating to relevant food stores, removal of kitchen waste and assisting in basic food preparation.

About You

To be a great fit for this role, you will ideally have

  • A willingness to learn, be reliable and hardworking
  • An ability to work well with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
