What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a confident, personable General Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher and other staff in delivery of lessons. EYFS/KS1 level experience is essential. In particular, we require a candidate who has/is:
- An enthusiastic and hard-working team player
- Prior experience of working as a general teaching assistant or working with children
- Motivated, positive with a can-do attitude
- Committed to high-standards and expectations
- Resilient and flexible
- Personable with a good sense of humour
- Willing to support the Christian ethos of the school
- A clear understanding of the EYFS/KS1 curriculum would be an advantage
- Phonics teaching experience and knowledge
