What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a confident, personable General Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher and other staff in delivery of lessons. EYFS/KS1 level experience is essential. In particular, we require a candidate who has/is:

  • An enthusiastic and hard-working team player
  • Prior experience of working as a general teaching assistant or working with children
  • Motivated, positive with a can-do attitude
  • Committed to high-standards and expectations
  • Resilient and flexible
  • Personable with a good sense of humour
  • Willing to support the Christian ethos of the school
  • A clear understanding of the EYFS/KS1 curriculum would be an advantage
  • Phonics teaching experience and knowledge
