What skills and experience we're looking for

Our Opportunity

You will be working closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of lessons / activities and acting as a second pair of ears and eyes for the teacher, observing pupil’s performance and behaviour.

As well as interacting with learners you will also support the teaching team by preparing classroom materials ready for fun-filled sessions.

You will have the enthusiasm and resilience to work with children and young people who have a wide variety of needs including:

  • Neurodivergent
  • Moderate and severe learning difficulties
  • Speech, language and communication

Skills & Qualifications

  • An awareness of child/young person’s development and learning
  • An awareness of the needs of children and young people with learning, sensory and physical difficulties
  • Experience of working with children and young people
