Governance Administrator job summary
GLF Schools is a forward-thinking and inclusive Multi-Academy Trust committed to raising standards and transforming lives through education. We are currently seeking a highly organised and professional part time Governance Administrator to support the work of our central Governance Team.
Your opportunity
The Governance Administrator will be responsible for supporting a range of governance-related activities and administrative tasks. Working closely with the Governance Manager, the postholder will help uphold the Trust’s high standards of governance by ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in the coordination of key meetings and procedures.
This role is pivotal in supporting the Trust Board, School Standards Boards (SSBs), and governance colleagues by ensuring key meetings are effectively administered, compliance obligations are met, and communication is well managed.
Your work will include:
- Coordinating and attending key meetings, including Complaint Hearings and Board Committees
- Tracking training and compliance for governance members
- Managing recruitment and onboarding of new SSB (School Standards Board) members
- Maintaining and updating our Governance Portal
- Supporting the complaints process and refining procedures that drive high standards
You will be required to work 3 days a week (days to be discussed at interview), 2 of which will be at The Beacon, Banstead with the option of home working for the third day.

The Details
Salary: Senior Specialist £33,426
Pro-rata salary: £19,498.50
Hours of work: 21 hours a week (3 days), 52 weeks a year
Location: The Beacon School, Banstead / hybrid
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
