What skills and experience we're looking for

The Head teacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified teaching assistant to support pupils, as part of a supportive team, encouraging and helping all our children to achieve their full potential, with an ability to fulfil all aspects of the person specification and Grade 3 TA Job Description.
Role
The role being offered is for a Grade 3 Teaching Assistant to work 5.5 hours per day - 5 days per week. The role will be temporary for 1 year, with a view to extension. The role is non-term time only.
Our new Teaching Assistant will:
- Support in 1:1 and in small groups.
- Support 5 days a week.
- Have an empathetic, nurturing manner.
- Have high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Be well organised.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Fully participate in school life.
- Support to engage pupils in positive play.
- Demonstrate an ability to support pupils with additional needs.
