GROUNDS MAINTENANCE APPRENTICE

35hrs per week including study leave (8am - 4pm)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Grounds Maintenance Apprentice to join our Trust.
You will play an important role in helping to maintain the Trust’s grounds and outdoor spaces, while developing your practical skills and working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification. You will receive training and support from experienced colleagues and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of grounds maintenance and horticulture.
What we’re looking for:
- An enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual with a genuine interest in grounds maintenance, gardening or horticulture.
- Someone who enjoys working outdoors and carrying out practical tasks.
- A team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and develop new practical skills.
- The ability to follow instructions and work safely with tools and equipment.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to take pride in maintaining high standards.
- Previous experience in gardening, grounds maintenance or other practical work would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
- The ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
