What skills and experience we're looking for

In response to recently confirmed staffing changes, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Head of Childcare & Education.

Offering an exciting opportunity for career development for an instructor / teacher, the role will include full support for those seeking to take their first step into leading a full-time course at level 2 and 3. As such, we welcome applications from both experienced and aspiring subject leads.

Whilst experience in a secondary school environment would be an advantage, a key requirement includes a working knowledge of Early Years and EYFS. Applications are therefore also encouraged from those with experience from a primary background.

St George’s Academy is a large, successful, 11-18 mixed secondary school of 2,340 students (including 334 in the sixth form) with outstanding facilities in all areas.
