ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Computing, IT and Creative Media. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a strong, experienced department who fulfil an important part of our curriculum. The department teaches all students in school, running courses at KS3, KS4 and KS5, including A Level, GCSE and vocational level. The ability to teach Computing A Level is essential, as is excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the changing demands of vocational qualifications.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Head of Computing, IT, and Creative Media, you will be a confident and inspirational leader who is passionate about enhancing the departments capability, offering and reputation, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

You will have sound working experience of overseeing curriculum development, in particular experience of aligning the prospectus with industry standards and emerging technologies, as well as experience of developing and delivering cutting-edge programs which meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.
