What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and inspirational Head of Criminology to lead a well-qualified and effective team of teachers. The successful candidate will teach across the full ability range at Key Stage 5. This post represents an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified specialist to share in the work of this thriving department and would suit an experienced colleague looking to further their career in the profession. This is a part-time permanent vacancy with a September 2025 start. Experience of teaching Criminology at Key Stage 5 and a proven track record is essential. For the right person, this could be a full-time post, if you are able to also teach any of the following subjects: English, PRE, Business Studies, science, history, computing/IT.

Lytchett Minster is a successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with approximately 1604 students, 318 of whom are in the successful sixth form. The learning environment is stunning with extensive and beautiful grounds; the school site is comprised of South Lytchett Manor House together with a number of modern extensions including the Arts block and theatre.
