A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of English. We are looking to appoint a Head of English who is committed to ensuring our young people are equipped with the key Literature and Language skills to be successful and make accelerated progress in English. Our school community requires an ambitious, inspirational, committed Head of Department who has a proven track record of increasing outcomes, and is passionate about their subject. Our students want someone who understands the power language has in transforming students’ lives, and is committed to ensuring our students receive a challenging curriculum built to serve their needs.
This position would suit an experienced Head of Department, or someone new to post who has experience as a postholder in a successful English Department.
