Head of Faculty - Performing Arts job summary
George Salter Academy is a friendly, happy and vibrant 11-18 academy, serving a multi-cultural community and we are seeking to appoint a motivated and inspirational Head of Faculty – Performing Arts from Easter 2024, or sooner. It would be desirable, but not essential, for the successful candidate to be a Music specialist.
Our Performing Arts Department consists of three specialist subject areas: Dance, Drama and Music, all of which are delivered across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will lead, manage and develop the Performing Arts faculty whilst inspiring and managing staff and students to secure outstanding outcomes for all.
The role would be the perfect opportunity for both those experienced in subject leadership looking to further their careers and also current Heads of Faculty looking to develop their skills within one of the country’s largest Multi Academy Trusts.
