What skills and experience we're looking for

Redhill Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to the role of Head of Finance, based at our central offices in Calverton. This is a key leadership position within a well-established and high-performing finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and transactional operations across the Trust, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and assisting with strategic planning that supports outstanding educational outcomes. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of the Trust, with a strong emphasis on innovation, leadership and operational excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will have a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent), alongside demonstrable experience in leading and motivating finance teams through periods of change. You will possess strong operational financial management skills, a high level of IT proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. A proactive, resilient and innovative approach to problem-solving, combined with a commitment to the Trust's values and educational mission will be essential.
