Health and Social Care is a popular subject at both KS4 and KS5 with Level 2 and Level 3 BTECs taught respectively. Students achieve excellent results each year We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to stimulating students’ interest and enjoyment in the subject and lead these courses through further curriculum development. The successful applicant would be joining our friendly, hard-working and committed social sciences department which has a very high uptake in our sixth form. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated Head of Health and Social Care to work within the Social Sciences department. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a desire to build strong relationships within the team and across the school. They should also be able to teach KS5 Psychology, Sociology or Criminology alongside Health and Social Care.
The post will start in September 2022.
