What skills and experience we're looking for
Required from Easter, the Directors are seeking to appoint an ambitious, charismatic leader with the drive and vision to lead the Languages Department on its journey to excellence. We are looking for a candidate with the relentless determination required to provide an exceptional languages curriculum for all students. This is a unique opportunity for an inspirational leader as the Languages Department has recently merged with English, providing an excellent foundation for a high-quality languages curriculum. As part of the Communication Faculty, the Head of Languages will work collaboratively with other leaders to raise aspirations for all students. The candidate needs to have a proven track record; preferably at all examination levels. The ability to teach both French and German is desired. Applications are invited from all denominations.

St Thomas More Catholic Academy is an 11-18 mixed Catholic comprehensive school with 1137 students on roll which has an excellent reputation throughout the area. On 1 November 2013 St Thomas More together with four primary academies formed the All Saints' Catholic Collegiate (MAC).
