What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to the successful career progression of our current Head of Maths, The Carlton Academy is looking to appoint a Head of Maths to provide professional leadership and management of this highly successful curriculum area working in close partnership with the SLT line manager. This post is ideal for candidates who have a successful track record in delivering outstanding outcomes and is looking to lead a highly motivated and supportive team of teachers. Excellent professional development and support is available from the Trust Director for Maths and within the Trust Maths network.
The Carlton Academy is a ‘good’ and over-subscribed 11-18 academy andis part of Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member ofRedhill College of Leadership and Developmentand as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regionalTeaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.
