George Salter Academy are seeking to appoint an exceptional and ambitious Head of Maths to lead a dedicated department and drive outstanding outcomes for our students. Maths is at the heart of our curriculum and we are looking for a passionate leader who believes every young person can succeed.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or current middle leader who is ready to shape the future of Maths, inspire colleagues and make a significant contribution to the wider life of the academy.
As Head of Maths, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership, development and performance of the department, ensuring high-quality teaching, excellent student progress and a curriculum that inspires curiosity, resilience and achievement. You will lead a team of committed professionals, using data to raise standards and implementing evidence-informed practices that enable all students to thrive.
