Mossley Hollins High School is seeking to appoint a talented Head of Music / Deputy Faculty Leader (Performing Arts and Sport). This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly ambitious, oversubscribed school with a strong reputation for academic excellence, staff development and wellbeing.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music, ideally with expertise in brass band performance. The successful candidate will lead Music whilst also playing a key leadership role within the Performing Arts and Sport Faculty, supporting the drive for high standards in teaching, learning and student achievement.

You will be an enthusiastic and credible leader who can inspire students and colleagues, promote excellence within Music, and contribute to the wider development of the faculty and school community.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A strong track record of securing excellent progress and attainment outcomes in Music.
• The ability to lead and develop others, driving continuous improvement across the faculty.
