What skills and experience we're looking for
ESSENTIAL
- Degree or equivalent
- Qualified teacher status
- Ability to teach Physics to GSCE
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning within Physics
- Excellent personal organisational skills
- Fluent communicator
- Ability to use ICT for teaching and learning and in the tracking and monitoring of student learning
DESIRABLE
- Experience of delivering the subject at A level
- Knowledge of recent curriculum development
- Experience of applying Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction

Bournemouth School, founded in 1901, is an over-subscribed grammar school serving Bournemouth and the surrounding area.
