Head of Religious Education job summary

George Salter Academy is a friendly, happy and vibrant 11-18 academy, serving a multi-cultural community and we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead our Religious Education department from January 2025, or earlier if possible (MPS/UPS + TLR 2b - £5,355).

The role is a perfect opportunity for existing Head of Department or those looking to step into leadership. The successful candidate will actively and positively promote RE across key stages 3, 4 and 5 whilst ensuring the development of teaching practices of others within the department.
