Head of School job summary
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and passionate person to lead one of our thriving Small Schools as it goes from strength to strength. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the welfare, learning and progress of a small school of students in Year 7 through to 11 (210-240 students), ensuring excellent pastoral and academic progress. You will be supported by your own Deputy Head of School and a Small School Co-ordinator who is a member of our incredible support staff team, as well as a team of dedicated Form tutors. You will play a key role in our Academy as part of our pastoral care and safeguarding teams, driving up attendance and students' progress. In this role you will lead assemblies, directly support student issues liaising with families, staff and external agencies, as well as celebrating their many successes. You will be pivotal in further embedding our smaller school system and the enrichment activities involved in this post.
