What skills and experience we're looking for

Key responsibilities

- be responsible for, under the direction of, and in consultation with, the Executive Headteacher, the overall day to day operational management and leadership of the school.

- provide vision, leadership and direction which are focused on continuous school improvement.

- effective working relationship with the Executive Headteacher, leadership team and all staff.

- seek strategies through which to achieve the agreed and shared vision of the school, leading by example particularly in respect of all aspects of teaching and learning and ensuring equality of opportunity for all.

Who we are looking for Youwill be a credible, values-driven leader with a successful track record at senior level within the education sector. You will bring strong experience of leading teams and supporting children and young people with a wide variety of additional needs. Youwill also offer:

- Strong understanding of SEND, safeguarding and relevant legislation

- Proven ability to lead teams through change and improvement

- Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills

- Resilience, professionalism and a genuine commitment to inclusive education

- Experience of leading different teams is desirable but not essential.
