We have an exciting opportunity to join the HBS team as head of our successful science department. The science team consists of 13 committed teachers and 3 dedicated Science Technicians who are constantly striving for excellence. We are looking for an outstanding teacher of science who has the requisite management skills to lead this large and specialist team.

With 13 well-equipped laboratories, and a supportive team, science subjects are popular choices at A Level. We currently have ten 6th form classes and significant positive progress at GCSE: Biology +0.84, Chemistry +0.43, Physics +0.75 and Combined Science +0.83.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is currently a successful second in Science or Head of Biology / Chemistry / Physics to take the next step in their career. Equally this post would suit a more experienced Head of Science.

Applications from those wishing to contribute to other aspects of school life outside the classroom are particularly welcome.
