In this role, you will work closely with students, families, colleagues and external agencies to remove barriers to learning, improve attendance and behaviour, promote student wellbeing and ensure every young person is supported to thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the pastoral care of an allocated year group, promoting excellent behaviour, attendance, wellbeing and personal development.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and carers, working collaboratively to remove barriers to learning and improve outcomes.
- Monitor attendance, behaviour and safeguarding concerns, implementing appropriate interventions and working closely with internal teams and external agencies where required.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral colleagues and support services to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Analyse attendance, behaviour and pastoral data to identify trends and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Promote and uphold the Academy's high expectations for behaviour, attendance, uniform and conduct, ensuring students embody the values of the Great Schools Trust.
- Maintain accurate pastoral records, contribute to meetings and support the wider safeguarding responsibilities of the Academy.
- Undertake any additional duties appropriate to the role, as directed by the Principal or senior leaders.
